TED HARDWARE WARRANTY

What this warranty covers
Together Energy Pty Ltd ("Together Energy", "we", "us") warrants that the TED smart plug hardware ("TED") is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase by the end consumer ("warranty period").
Who this warranty applies to
This warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable. If you sell or give your TED to another person, the warranty does not pass to them.
What we will do
If your TED develops a covered fault during the warranty period, we will, at our discretion, either replace it with a new or equivalent unit, or issue a refund of the original purchase price if a replacement is not available.
You do not need to return the faulty unit to us. We will ship a replacement to your original delivery address at no cost to you.
What this warranty does not cover
This warranty does not apply to damage or faults caused by:

misuse, abuse, or accidental damage

incorrect installation or failure to follow the product instructions

use outside the product's rated electrical specifications (110–240V~, 50/60Hz, 15A maximum)

exposure to water, moisture, or weather conditions beyond the product's rated environment
-
normal wear and tear
-
tampering, unauthorised repair, or modification
-
damage caused by power surges or electrical supply issues outside Together Energy's control
This warranty covers the TED hardware only. It does not extend to the Together Energy app, software, or any subscription or service components.
How to make a claim
To make a warranty claim, email us at info@togetherenergy.com with:

your full name and delivery address

proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)

a description of the fault
-
a photo or video of the issue where possible
We will respond within 5 business days. If your claim is approved, we will arrange dispatch of a replacement or confirm a refund.
Australian consumer law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit or exclude, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
